Calgary busy for Easter long weekend

The Easter long weekend is nearly upon us, and here are plenty of events around the city to keep families entertained.
The weather will be on our side; Meteorologist David Spence said we can expect some sunshine.
“Temperatures over the long weekend I think are going to be near the seasonal average. The average high is 12 degrees,” he said. “It looks like we’ll get there Sunday. Most of the weekend will be dry except for Good Friday, we’ll see some showers then”
Spence says it’s unlikely we will get any snow, so people can get out and have some fun.
The Calgary zoo is offering its Easter Eggstravaganza Friday and Saturday; we’re talking food, face painting and of course the animals.
Then there is the Great Legendary Easter Hunt at Butterfield Acres Farm on Friday and Saturday.
If your fur family needs something to do, Calaway Park is the place to be for the Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs and their families on Friday.
