Western Canada High students cycling to school

Students at Western Canada High School are being asked to pedal their way to school Thursday morning.

It’s all in support of the City of Calgary’s Bicycle Program.

After the teens put down their kickstands, they’ll be treated to a yummy pancake breakfast.

The event was organized by the Western Canada High School Environmental Club.

The student members hope to promote cycling as an environmentally friendly way to get to work or school.
