Three weeks until Nordstrom opens in Canada

Calgarians can shop till they drop at the new Nordstrom in 21 days!
The American retailer will open up its first Canadian store at Chinook Centre on September 19th.
Calgary was chosen to get the first store because of a convenient construction schedule.
Spokesperson John Bailey said after Target’s “growing pains”, they’ve been watching and learning.
“Hopefully customers will let us know what we got right, and hopefully they’ll let us know what we can improve upon, and were going to work hard to make changes in real time. What’s nice is that we’ll be able to take the lessons we’ve learned and apply them to the other stores we open as we expand across Canada.”
Ottawa will get a store in Spring 2015, the Vancouver location will open in the Fall of 2015, and Toronto will get 2 stores in 2016, and one in 2017.
The Calgary location consists of apparel, accessories, and five shoe departments for men, women, and kids.
The department store also has two grab-and-go food locations.
