The Labour Day long weekend is seen by many as the last chance to enjoy summer and there will be plenty to do in Calgary.

All eight outdoor pools will be open for holiday Monday for the last day of the season.

The Zoo and Heritage Park will also be open on Labour Day.

However, there are some things to avoid as all the city’s arenas and fitness centres are closed, with the exception of the Village Square Leisure Centre.
