Plans unveiled for next phase of development at Currie Barracks

You can find out more about plans for the Currie Barracks area in the city’s southwest Wednesday evening.
The city is holding an information session at Clearwater Academy.
Planners are reporting back after public input last year on the second phase of development.
The recommendations for a mix of retail, office and residential space now go to the Calgary Planning Commission.
According to the City of Calgary, it would include a network of open space and pathways while preserving key aspects of the area’s military history.
The information session will be held in the Athlone Hall Auditorium at Clearwater Academy, 4041 Breskens Dr. SW, from 5 until 8 pm.
