The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth is drawing closer.
Auditions for Stampede Showriders are being held this weekend in Turner Valley at the Barron Barn.
Officials are looking for equestrians aged 14 to 21 with a “distinctive western flair.”
The chosen team gets to perform musical rides several times a day at The Stampede and serve as a colour guard.
They’ll also get to travel across southern Alberta, and even the U.S. and Europe.
Riding experience is required and all those trying out must have their own horse.
