One person was able to safely escape a fire in the city’s southwest Sunday night.
Fire crews were called to the 4100 block of 7 Avenue around 7 p.m.
Battalion Chief Al Magwood tells 660News, flames did reach as high as the attic.
“The fire was extinguished. There was no extension to adjacent homes and there was no requirement for a second alarm,” he said.
Magwood says the damage was confined to the exterior of the home and the attic.
