Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes at the Calgary Courthouse?
This Saturday is the opportunity to find out.
The 33rd annual Law Day takes place and Co-Chair of the event, Chad Conrad, says there are all sorts of things to check out.
“There are about 40 or 50 booths and exhibits from various agencies connected with the justice system. There are tours of the courtrooms. You can go down and tour the holding cells. A couple years ago, my daughter allowed herself to get handcuffed and locked in the back of a prisoner transport,” he said. “She didn’t like that very much.”
It runs from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Calgary Courthouse downtown, and is free for everyone.
