The Calgary Flames are heading home with their heads down after a second straight loss to the Anaheim Ducks to open the second round series of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Flames were blanked 3-0 Sunday night and forward David Jones says they need to look for the bright spots in the game if they hope to get back into the series which they now trail two games to none.
“I don’t think there were really any moments where we felt that we were outplaying them. I thought tonight the second half of the game was pretty positive. We’re down two-nothing, we got a big hill to climb but we just gotta take some positives and keep our heads up and going home now and try to get that next win,” he said.
The next Calgary Flames game is Tuesday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. with all the action on Sportsnet 960 the Fan and Sportsnet West.
