Tree doctors on hand at ReTree YYC

The spring cleanup continues Sunday at South Glenmore Park after the 2014 September snowstorm damaged an estimated 50 per cent of Calgary’s trees.
It is the first of three fairs in the ReTree YYC series.
The free events being held across the city including tree doctors, or experts, booths, demos, tips, talks, food, and kids’ activities.
Locations for ReTree YYC fairs are as follows:
Sunday, May 17 – South Glenmore Park 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Note: the event will be taking place at the Oakmount Dr. S.W. & 90 Ave. S.W. entrance to the park)
Sunday, June 14 – Prairie Winds Park 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, June 28 – Bowness Park 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free resources are available including tips and tricks about caring for trees as well as free mulch.
