Man charged with 2nd degree murder in death of Jessica Newman

Calgary Police have charged Kevin Rubletz, 30, of Calgary with second-degree murder in the death of a Calgary mother.

The body of Jessicsa Newman, 24, was found in a ditch near Airdrie May 4th by a work crew.

Newman was last seen in the Forest Lawn area on March 10th at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The Calgary Police Service is holding a media conference Saturday.
