Two dead, one injured at Fox Creek work camp

Mounties have shot a man after a double homicide at a work camp north of Edmonton.
Constable Jason Curtis says the incident happened around 1:50 a.m. Tuesday at Fox Creek.
“RCMP attended and they located two deceased persons. They then located a male armed with a knife. They commanded the male to place the knife down,” he said.
Officers then discharged their weapons, wounding the man, and he is now in hospital.
Both the Edmonton RCMP Major Crime Units and the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) are on scene investigating.
The names of the victims have not been released.
