1835 Recovery Acres Society gets set for ‘Party In The Park’

Expect a big ‘Party In The Park’ in North Glenmore Park this Saturday!

Officials with 1835 Recovery House will be holding a fundraiser for the local recovery centre in Calgary.

Fund Development Coordinator Rob Laird tells 660 News, funds will go to a new centre so they might expand their services to women and there will be something for everyone:

“There’s a free barbeque, live music, face painting, balloons, magicians and all that kind of stuff for the kids.”

There will also be guest speakers, celebrities on hand as well as over 100 silent auction Items.

They’re hoping to raise the 7-million dollars for the new centre they hope to build in north Calgary.

It runs from 11am til 4pm at North Glenmore Park at the Golden Eagle Picnic Site located at the east end of the reservoir.
