Man in custody after Saddleridge stabbing

Calgary police confirm a man is in custody, in connection to the brutal assault of a woman in her Saddleridge home this week.
The woman in her 30s was stabbed multiple times in her home on Saddlemead Green NE in what police described as a domestic attack.
She was rushed to hospital in critical condition but was later upgraded to stable.
Police said children were home during the assault and it was one of her sons who was able to reach a neighbour to call 911.
Charges have not been laid against the person in custody.
