Sheldon Kennedy to visit MRU
Sheldon Kennedy will visit Mount Royal University Wednesday to discuss child abuse prevention.
The former NHL player will talk to more than 400 students as part of the Stephanson-Cooke Interprofessional Event.
Kennedy is the keynote speaker and will read excerpts from his book, Why I Didn’t Say Anything, explaining how his experience with child abuse led to his involvement with the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre.
