Mild, but windy trick or treating forecast for Calgary

Expect it to be a relatively mild trick or treating evening for the kiddies, Saturday.

Meteorologist David Spence is predicting it will be about 10 or 11 degrees between 6 and 9 p.m.

However, wind may pose a problem.

“It’ll be a bit of a chinook going on (Saturday) night, so that will keep us warm, but it’ll also be windy so make sure the kids go out really quickly so they can get a lot of candy in their candy bags so they don’t fly away, so they’re weighed down,” adds Spence.

As for the adults, Spence says grab a coat if you’ll be out late, as temperatures will cool off towards midnight.
