Another successful trip to Disneyland for Dreams Take Flight

A day in the magical kingdom came and went for 150 deserving children from Calgary.
660’s Ian Campbell was one of a few reporters invited along for the day in Disneyland and said the day ended with the kids saying goodbye to some of the Los Angeles-based volunteers, before boarding the 767 that will be heading home to Calgary.
It was a beautiful day, and the weather co-operated. A lot of fun was had and a lot of great memories were made. One young girl said this trip is something she’ll remember for the rest of her life.
She says the favourite part of the trip was making new friends and having fun on the rides.
Work has already begun for next year as they look to take the next 150 deserving kids to Disneyland.
