Snowfall warning in place for mountain parks

Those heading out for a road trip Friday may want to pack their boots.
A snow fall warning is out for the Mountain Parks and Foothills calling for up to 20 centimetres of snow in higher elevations, and a mix of snow and rain in lower lying areas.
Meteorologist David Spence says that could lead to some nasty driving.
“Of course, at higher elevations, along the Continental Divide, if you’re travelling Highway 93 for example, you might run into some pretty bad driving conditions. There were some rather difficult conditions along there (Thursday), and I wouldn’t be surprised to see that developing again and continuing (Friday),” he said.
Spence says commuters should add 30 minutes to an hour to their drive from Calgary to the mountains.
