Toys 4 Teens drive launches

It’s a big event each year, for an important demographic: Calgary teens.

660 NEWS is a proud supporter of the Toys 4 Teens program, which kicked off Thursday morning with help from our sister station, JACK FM and London Drugs.

Assistant Store Manager Danielle Robertson tells us, teens are one of the most over-looked demographics during the holiday season.

“Generous Calgarians donate thousands of gifts every year for young kids for various toy drives throughout the city, but the number of gifts donated for Tweens and teens often falls short of demand, so, they’re a tricky group to buy for,” she said.

Robertson says London Drugs sells cosmetic sets, skincare, adult colouring books, handheld drones, and hair appliances: all perfect gifts to make an older kid’s Christmas.

Donations will be accepted until December 20.
