Snowmobile accident kills one near Leduc

An experienced snowmobiler who collided with a barbed wire fence in the dark has died from his injuries.
The crash happened near the Glen Park district just southwest of Leduc around 6 o’clock Saturday night .
The 49-year-old man had been testing his sled on private property after maintenance.
When paramedics arrived, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor and RCMP won’t be releasing his name at this time.
