Airport consults residents about changing flight paths

It can be a noisy nuisance for residents, especially those closer to the airport, but there may be some relief flying in.
NAV Canada is currently reviewing changing flight paths in Calgary with community open house meetings happening in the city.
Michelle Bishop, Director of Government and Public Affairs with NAV Canada, says Calgarians have come out seeking answers.
“We’ve had lots of questions about current flight paths and why those are the way they are as well as questions about potential impacts from the new proposed flight paths, but generally the reception has been good,” she said.
Public consultations will continue until the end of the month, when NAV Canada will sit down with the airport and go over future plans.
Those who can’t make meetings can go to the Calgary Airport website, where there is a presentation video and comment section.
