Group concerned about city’s Bus Rapid Transit project

A group of Calgarians living in the city’s southwest will be gathering Thursday night to talk about the Bus Rapid Transit project.
The concerned citizens, who call themselves ‘ready to engage!’ say there’s been no meaningful consultation, and little information shared about the budget or overall plan for the project.
There are also objections when it comes to the environmental impact of building new roadways and bus-only lanes.
They are demanding “transparency” and “accountability” from city council and administration.
The meeting takes place at the Calgary Jewish Community Centre at 7 p.m.
