Alberta Premier Rachel Notley will introduce new cabinet ministers Tuesday.
The provincial government says in a news release that Notley will announce the changes Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Edmonton.
Currently, there are 13 cabinet ministers and it isn’t clear how many more ministers there will be or if any current members will leave their posts.
Mount Royal political scientist Keith Brownsey tells 660 News, ‘A lot of the ministers right now are doing two or three jobs and it’s very taxing on them, it’s an enormous burden, especially when you’ve had little to no experience in government.’
He adds, you can also expect anywhere between 1-3 more cabinet ministers from Calgary.
