Red Deer RCMP have arrested a man they believe is involved in the death of a 23-year-old man.
On Friday, mounties put out a Canada-wide arrest warrant for 24-year-old Alexander Michael Talbot.
They say Talbot was involved in the death of Dawson Wegner-Cramer, who died on March 16th.
Officers allege that Talbot was in the process of stealing Wegner-Cramer’s Ford F-650 when he was caught by Wegner-Cramer, who tried to stop Talbot.
Talbot then reportedly drove into the victim, before leaving the scene.
Wegner-Cramer was found in an alley in Red Deer and rushed to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Talbot was arrested in Red Deer Friday afternoon without incident.
He is facing manslaughter and theft charges in the case. He is currently in custody pending a release hearing.
RCMP also arrested 27-year-old Amanda Jo-Lynn Larsen and charged her with possession of stolen property over $5,000 for her involvement in the case. She’s set to appear in court on Tuesday.
