SAIT is unveiling its new look to the public.
Officials revealed its new logo on campus Tuesday morning, after almost of year of consultation and developing the fresh branding.
“Anticipation around the new brand has been building for months and we are looking forward to seeing it in action,” states President Dr. David Ross. “As we progress into our next century, the new brand story and visual identity represents both the present and future relationships SAIT has with our community, students, employees, alumni and partners around the globe.”
The school says it’s seen rapid growth lately, with a 50 per cent increase in full-time students in nine new buildings. However, its brand hasn’t been updated since 1998.
“More than 4,000 voices united to contribute to SAIT’s new brand,” says Director of Market Carol Rogalski in a news release. “One piece of overwhelming feedback was the understanding that SAIT offers a polytechnic education, but having the word in the name wasn’t necessary. We listened and the new brand reflects that.”
It’s going to take up to three years to wipe out the old logo. The brand is being rolled out now and it will replace old materials reaching the end of their life cycle.
