Other acts include Dean Brody, Brett Kissel, Randy Bachman, Ian Tyson, the Rankin Family, Dallas Smith, Alan Doyle, Dear Rouge and High Valley.
Tim Shipton is a volunteer with the organizing committee and said it’s been a full team effort to put the show together, along with willingness from performers to play for free.
“Right from the beginning, when we started reaching out to some of the artists and bands, the response has been just phenomenal,” he said. “It started with the group that put together the ‘Flood Aid’ concert for people affected by the Calgary floods a few years back and then it just branched out from there.”
Money raised will go to the Fort McMurray United Way, with tickets going on sale Monday through Ticketmaster.
They range from $35 to $99 with an option to buy tickets for displaced Fort McMurray residents.
