Malware causes problems at U of C

Some big time computer troubles at the University of Calgary Monday.

The school says malware knocked out a number of critical systems.

As of 8 a.m., The AirUC-Secure wireless network and Office 365 email were operational, while Exchange email and Skype for Business were both still impacted.

A statement says it is now safe to use UCalgary-issued computers to access available UCalgary networks and applications.

Classes will continue to run as scheduled, and all employees are asked to report for their shifts.
