Lobsterfest kicks off in Calgary this weekend

The second annual YYC Lobsterfest goes this weekend.

It’s hosted by Billingsgate Market and The Market on MacLeod.

Billingsgate owner Bryan Falwell says all proceeds will benefit the Calgary Firefighters Burn Unit.

“It’s close to my heart because my uncle was severely burned years ago; I’ve had my daughter go to the Burn Unit. It’s just — it’s one of the most painful things you can endure is severe burns,” he said.
