Environment minister to announce flood mitigation grants

It’s funding that aims to prevent another disaster like we saw in 2013.

The province’s environment minister will be announcing grants Thursday for several flood mitigation projects.

Shannon Phillips will be speaking at Calgary’s Water Centre before noon.

The money comes from the Watershed Resiliency and Restoration Program.
