Fatal crash in Airdrie

A man is dead after his car slammed in to a tree in Airdrie.

Emergency crews were called to Yankee Valley Boulevard at East Lake Boulevard shortly after 8 p.m. Friday where they found the lone occupant, a man in his 50’s dead.

Paramedics say the vehicle was significantly damaged in the crash.
