Arsonist at work in the southeast

Calgary police are on the hunt for a fire bug in the southeast.

Fire crews dealt with at least two vehicles and one garbage can set ablaze in the areas of Deer Run and Queensland Monday morning.

The first call came in around 5 a.m., with additional calls coming after that.

Police say they don’t have a lead on a suspect at this point, and no structures have been damaged.

Anybody with information on the fires is asked to call police.
