Golf superstars arrive in Calgary for competition

Some of the biggest stars in the world of golf are in Calgary this week.

Lydia Ko will be looking to defend her title at the 2016 CP Women’s Open which gets underway Thursday.

Martin Cej with Canadian Pacific says it’s the very best field in women’s golf.

“And we’ve done it consistently for the past few years and this year’s going to be no different, and I think one of the most exciting things about this year is this will be the first tournament after the Olympics. So, we have the top ten players in world, we’ll have the Olympians showing up,” Cej said.

The competition continues until Sunday at the Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club.
