Man arrested and charged in connection to 2015 Stettler shooting

It took more than a year for Stettler RCMP to get their man but they’ve finally arrested and charged an individual in connection to a 2015 shooting in central Alberta.
It all stemmed from some kind of an altercation at a home, where a gun was fired.
RCMP say one man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and the person responsible fled the scene before they arrived.
The victim was later released from hospital.
On Friday they arrested and charged 29 year old Benoit Joseph Lacerte with Attempted Murder using a firearm.
He’ll be in court next on September 22nd, in Stettler.
