Province greenlights three oilsands projects

The Notley Government has approved three new oilsands projects.

Following a regulatory review, the Husky Saleski development, the Blackrod and the Wildwood proposals have all been given the go ahead.

The province says they collectively represent about $4 billion in potential investment in Alberta’s economy.

If they go ahead, the oilsands plants would account for an additional 95-thousand barrels a day.
