Red Deer diner apologizes for head turning sign

A diner in Red Deer has apologized for a sign that turned a lot of heads.
Queens Diner on the southwest side of the city put up a sign out front that read “It’s Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Pick a washroom.”
Following online criticism, the diner took the sign down and said it didn’t mean to offend anyone.
Management says it was just trying to draw attention to the fact the small restaurant doesn’t have room to add or change its washrooms.
Queen’s Diner has also taken down their Facebook page following the backlash.
