Calgary police are making some changes intended to better serve the public during peak hours.
Front counters at all district officers will now be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
The decision was made to shorten the time offices are open, so that more officers could be scheduled to man them during the busiest times of the day.
Calgarians still have the option to pre-book appointments online.
Citizens can also report a non-emergency crime by downloading the CPS mobile app, or by calling 403-266-1234.
