Smith Hart dies of prostate cancer at age 68

The wrestling world is mourning the loss of one of Calgary’s Hart brothers.
Smith Hart, son of pro wrestling legend Stu Hart and brother of Bret ‘the Hitman’ Hart, has died at the age of 68 after a battle with prostate cancer.
Smith was the eldest of Stu and Helen Hart’s 12 children.
The WWE paid tribute to Smith after the family announced his death on Sunday, saying Hart made a name for himself around the world in the 1970s and 80s, as well as in Alberta’s Stampede Wrestling, spearheaded by his father.
Smith and his brother Bret, who also had a fight with prostate cancer, teamed up earlier this year to spread awareness about the illness.
