Worker falls to death in southeast Calgary

A man has died from his injuries after falling from a four-storey building under construction in the southeast community of Mahogany.
According to Calgary Emergency Medical Services, paramedics were called to the scene on Mahogany Mews at around 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
The man was working on a multi-residential complex before the fall.
“There were no signs of life based on the injuries sustained and that person was determined deceased by EMS paramedics,” explained spokesperson Adam Loria. “There were no other reported injuries at that location.”
Loria added paramedics don’t know what caused the fall.
Occupational Health and Safety is investigating.
