A sworn member of the Calgary Police Service has been charged with criminal harassment and breach of trust following a domestic matter in 2015.
Police received a complaint about the member, just over a year ago, and the domestic conflict unit began investigating.
The suspect, whose name was not released to protect the identity of the victim, was charged Monday.
Police say the breach of trust charge relates to the use of CPS information technology resources during the alleged offence.
The member has been placed on administrative leave, during which time their status will be reviewed.
