What do people think about living in Airdrie?
According to the 2018 Citizen Satisfaction Survey, 99 per cent of residents feel safe during the daytime, 94 per cent overall.
Ninety-three per cent of people polled are pleased with the Airdrie Fire Department and 88 per cent are happy with the new curbside recycling program.
When asked what are the most important issues facing the city, 33 per cent said infrastructure, which included traffic, roads, train tracks, and construction.
Twelve per cent of residents said health care and eight per cent felt it was rapid growth management.
The survey was conducted by Banister Research from January 8th to the 19th, and used the results of 400 telephone interviews and 89 web based responses.
