A popular attraction in downtown Calgary has finally reopened.
Devonian Gardens, which is located on the top floor of The Core shopping centre, underwent a $37-million renovation and then problems started popping up with leaky planters in 2012.
David Harrison with the city’s parks department tells City News they are pretty confident the leaks have been fixed.
“Every planter that we re-did for the waterproofing, before we put the soil and trees back in, we flood tested the planters for 24 hours to make sure they actually did not leak, didn’t have any problems,” said Harrison.
Devonian Gardens first opened in 1977.
