One man dead after crash on Stoney Trail

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A driver is dead after a single vehicle crash this morning on Stoney Trail.
It happened at around 11am when the truck hit a pole while heading northbound near 114th Street.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A single vehicle was involved and the one individual, the driver, was deceased at the scene,” says Duty Inspector Curtis Olson.
Right now police do not have a cause for the crash.
The road was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
