Two shootings occur late Sunday night in Calgary

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — It appears nobody was hurt after a pair of incidents involving gunfire Sunday night.

Police said the first call came in at about 9:30 p.m. from a home at Bowness Road and 44 Street northwest.

Sgt. Duane Lepchuk said the homeowner called in about the shots fired.

“Who indicated that his residence was hit by a bullet.”

A family with two kids was inside the home.

The other shooting involved casings found at a high rise near 12 Avenue and 11 Street southwest.

Police say there were no reports of any injuries in either incident.
