No Pants Subway Ride 2019 celebrated in Calgary

CALGARY (660 NEWS) —No Pants Subway Ride 2019 cruised into Calgary on Sunday.

It started in New York City and has spread to more than 20 cities world-wide as willing participants board public transportation and remove their pants.

Here in Calgary a small group gathered at a downtown C-train platform and rode south and then north without their pants.

“It’s actually refreshing, also seeing what other people’s reactions are, on a good year we manage to recruit people to join the event,” said organizer, Thomas Therashima.

There was a few giggles from fellow passengers who were wearing pants.

The date for the 2020 ride will be announced in December.
