Travel advisory for central Alberta as snowfall expected

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A travel advisory has been issued for central Alberta with heavy snowfall expected through the weekend.
Environment Canada is calling for 15 to 30 centimetres of snow in the coming days, leading to poor driving conditions and low visibility on highways.
According to 511 Alberta, drivers should consider postponing any non-essential travel.
If you plan to head out on the roads, make sure your vehicle has the proper tires and always pack a winter emergency kit.
