Street cleaning in Calgary starts next week

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Get ready to be swept off your feet, or rather off your tires as street cleaning is ready to start.

The City of Calgary has released its schedule for the spring clean, which begins in the first week of April.

The city is asking that you move your vehicles as well as your green, blue and black bins while sweeping happens in your neighbourhood.

A parking ban will be in effect when signs with no parking symbols are placed around the community during the spring clean-up.

Any vehicle that remains in the street will be subject to a ticket or a tow.

To check when they’ll be hitting your neighbourhood, you can visit the City of Calgary website.
