One person charged after N.E. shooting

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary Police are investigating a shooting in the northeast community of Temple.
On Tuesday, April 9th, police were called to the area Temple Drive and 43rd Ave N.E. around 6:30 p.m., after reports of shots being fired.
Police found one person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Around a half hour later police found a suspect vehicle with two people inside. Both were taken into custody, one was later released without charges.
40-year-old Travis Neil Favel is facing multiple charges including attempted murder.
Police believe the victim and suspect were known to each other.
