CALGARY (660 NEWS) — The Cowboys tent will live on at a new location this Stampede.
The City of Calgary has approved the tent to open up near East Victoria Park, at the former location of the burned-down Enoch House.
Since this is off of the Stampede grounds, there are several conditions including music has to be shut off at midnight, and the party goers need to be out of the tent no later than 1 a.m.
Bylaw officers will be at the tent every night to make sure they comply and extra security is also among the conditions.
Some residents have been worried about the tent operating near them after it was forced to move due to construction at the BMO Centre.
