Man arrested after CPS vehicle rammed by stolen truck

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A number of charges are pending against a Calgary man after he allegedly stole a truck, and rammed into a Calgary Police vehicle.

Calgary Police say that they started to follow the stolen truck early Tuesday morning, and the driver of the stolen vehicle rammed into a police truck while being followed.

The stolen truck was stopped in the Springbank area by Cochrane RCMP, where the driver was arrested with the help of a police dog.

The 36-year-old man suffered minor injuries during the arrest.
