‘Activate #YYCSnowPups’: Trending topic calls for pics of pets in the snow

CALGARY – While some Calgarians groan as a winter storm dumps snow on us at days after fall officially started, others are making the most of it.
One of those looking on the brighter side is Calgary’s mayor, Naheed Nenshi.
He put the call out on social media to “activate #YYCSnowPups for the first time this season”, asking for pictures of your pets enjoying the snow.

Lots of people are getting in on the action, making #yycsnowpups a trending topic on Twitter. And of course, the hashtag yielded some very cute photos.
